Sometimes

Sometimes, I look you up and down,

But you never speak to me.

Sometimes, I stand close to you

And you touch my rear.

Sometimes, I undress you,

But you won’t say a word.

Out of Thyme

I’m in kitchen, I’m at stove.

I making dish for table 5.

Desserts, Desserts, they pass me by.

I focus on my cooking, I shut them out.

I lower heat, but heat is on.

I wipe forehead,

I sweating like mad.

Head chef looking at me,

I panic, I scream,

“We are out of thyme!”

The Hasty Tailor.

A tailor arrived at the gates of Heaven and asked St. Peter to be admitted.

St. Peter refused to admit him, because he had stolen thread and God punished people for stealing.

The tailor begged, and St. Peter let him sit and wait for God.

He wandered off and found the chair where God could see everything on earth.

The tailor then sat and saw an old woman steal two shirts from the tailor’s unattended shop in town.

The tailor took a nearby golden stool and threw it at the woman and killed her.

God returned, saw this, and said that if he was that merciless, Heaven would be void of objects because he would have thrown everything at the earth.

God then threw the tailor into hell and admitted the woman to Heaven.

Falling for You

I turned the corner,

There you were,

Our eyes met,

Soon we’ll too.

My legs grew weak.

You smiled and I stumbled,

I fell…for you.

I lay on the ground

At the foot of the stairs.

I had twisted my ankle,

Falling for you.

There you were.

Worried, yet touched.

You smiled and you blushed.

And though it was I who fell,

It was you who had fallen for me.

…my back cracked.
