Anna Chelak & The King of Siam

As the King’s royal ship was entering the port,

There she stood, with a loaf of bread and salt,

Waiting to greet and welcome.

Stepping off the ship and onto the dock,

His presence demanded respect.

She welcomed him and showed him to his quarters,

They dined, they sang, they danced.

Seducing him, she brought peace to the far east.
