Loss of Fate

Nazi-occupied France.

While on his quest for power through supernatural means,
Adolf Hitler came across a prophecy foretelling of a savior,
Having soon been born in a small German town,
One which will rise and lead
The people against him.

Furious and scared, he raced back to Berlin,
Sending out an official order for the death of
All male infants born within the past 24 hours
And the coming 48 hours.

It was the winter of ’29.
Sadness loomed around the world.
I was a young lad,  born to a big family.
The weather was unbearable.
